Clearstep AI is built for everyone. Accessibility isn't an afterthought — it's at the heart of everything we design.
We believe that learning about AI should be available to everyone, regardless of ability. Our platform is designed from the ground up with accessibility in mind, following WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines as our baseline standard.
Large, readable text sizes with high-contrast colors throughout the platform. Clear, simple navigation that works with screen readers and keyboard-only use. Plain language in all content — no jargon, no unnecessarily complex sentences. Descriptive link text and image labels so assistive technology can convey meaning accurately.
Because many of our users are 65 and older, we make additional design choices beyond standard accessibility guidelines. Our buttons and touch targets are generously sized. We avoid time-limited interactions. Color is never the only way to convey meaning. And every action can be undone — so there's never any fear of making a mistake.
Accessibility is a journey, not a destination. We regularly audit our platform using both automated tools and real user feedback. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, we genuinely want to hear from you.
If something on Clearstep isn't working the way it should for you, please let us know at hello@clearstepai.org. We take every report seriously and aim to respond within 2 business days.
